IRSA - Institut Royal pour Sourds et Aveugles

IRSA, Royal institution for deaf and blind is the largest french-speaking center of instruction and education for people affected by eye disorders, hearing impairment or langage disorders. Founded and supported by the Congregation of Sisters of Charity since 1835, IRSA is located in a 15 square miles park , in Uccle (Brussels). Most of more than 1000 daily benefiaries are under 21. Among those people with sensory disabilities, one third is affected by associated handicaps : mental, psychic or motor disabilities.
